We’re Part of Something Bigger! Why Moonlight Warriors Joined BMABA

Hi everyone, Sue here! I wanted to share some exciting news about Moonlight Warriors. We’ve recently joined BMABA – that’s the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association. You might be wondering, what does that mean for you and your kids? Well, let me explain.

Basically, BMABA is like a big family for martial arts clubs all over the UK. They set standards, provide support, and make sure we’re all running things safely and properly. For me, it’s about giving you peace of mind. I want you to know that your children are learning from instructors who are fully qualified and insured.

One of the best things about joining BMABA is the insurance cover it provides. It means I’m covered to teach a range of martial arts, including Freestyle Jujitsu, Freestyle Karate, Karate, Karate DO, and Traditional Karate. So, whether your child is just starting out or wants to try something a bit different, we’ve got them covered.

Blunted Kama for Competition and Training

You might also see that I’m endorsed to teach weapons like the Kama and Nunchucks. Now, I know that might sound a bit scary, but don’t worry! We only use blunted blades for the Kama, and all our weapons training is done in a safe and controlled environment. It’s a great way to learn discipline and coordination, and it’s actually a lot of fun! It is also fantastic for those who want to compete in weapons kata.

Being a member of BMABA also means we have access to lots of resources and training. It helps me stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and safety guidelines. That’s really important to me, because I want to make sure your children are getting the best possible training.

For you as parents in Barton upon Humber, Barrow upon Humber, and across North Lincolnshire, this means your children are learning in a safe and supportive place. We’re part of a recognised organisation, which provides extra reassurance.

We are so proud to be part of the BMABA family. It’s not just about ticking boxes; it’s about showing our commitment to providing high-quality martial arts training right here in our local community.

If you have any questions about our BMABA membership or anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask!
